Hi,
I am Alan and am one of the founder members of the group. I am keen to get to know you all and maintain some useful contact between meetings. Self employment can be lonely and I am happy to hear from any of you who would like a sounding board for ideas, critique / proof reading of documents etc. Helping each other is what this group is all about.
For over 20 years I worked for Corporate IT Companies (STC, ICL, Primary Network
Products) in various roles -
I am now self employed doing Internet Marketing. I trade as A W Dansey Associates, assisted by others as required to offer a full range of services. These include producing marketing plans, copy writing, technical authoring, domain name registration, hosting, Web publishing , search engine registration, offline publicity etc. etc. As well as being Webmasters for a wide variety of clients' sites, we host local business directories and community sites.
I have 3 children (youngest 20) and play an active role in a number of organisations
